  • 4+ years of experience managing Windows servers (2003/2008/2012)
  • 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure
  • Proficiency with IIS, .Net, SQL, DNS, and Active Directory
  • Solid experience with scripting and deployment automation tools


  • Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) – Cloud Platform and Infrastructure
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) – Windows Server 2016
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) – Cloud Platform Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate

Responsibilities include:

  • Installing and configuring Windows server hardware and software (physical and virtual)
  • Managing and provisioning cloud-based server environments on Window Azure
  • Deploying and testing OS, virus updates, patches and performance tuning
  • Diagnosing and resolving system problems with the OS, middleware, hardware, and applications
  • Supporting a variety of applications within the Windows server environment (business applications, databases, web services, messaging, monitoring tools, etc.)
  • Investigating vendor vulnerability updates and patches
  • Providing on-call 24-7 support on a rotating basis
  • Developing operating procedures for system administration activities including system monitoring, performance tuning, backup/recovery, and system maintenance
  • Analyzing server performance and utilization
